SUPER confused.. Can you help me?
Not sure what days or dates to go by! I do not remember the last day of my menstrual period.. They say its best to go by the first ultrasound, but I am not sure. I have had so many, like around ten or eleven. I am high risk because I am a diabetic. My sugars are controlled, and the baby is healthy so far! So my last ultrasound the baby was measuring around 36/37 weeks.. And my OB is measuring the outside of my belly at 37 weeks too. Baby is already 6lbs 8oz.. So how far along do you think I really am? I feel like I am about to burst, and I am huge! Everyone thinks I am further along than I really am.. My original due date is January 26th, 2010.. But I think he will be here sooner than that! What do you think? Should I go by the ultra sound that says he is measuring around 37 weeks?
I would go by the first ultrasound. It's very normal for baby and your uterus to measure 2 weeks ahead of behind. That's because after 12 weeks each baby grows at their own pace. I would stick to the January 26th due date because it's safer [for baby's lung maturity] to put yourself 2 weeks behind then 2 weeks ahead.
