How much time is global warming going to take?
Do you we can reverse what's happening?
Is it better to do a rapid develpment in industry and care later for the environment?
I don't think anyone really knows how long it's going to take... to determine that, you'd have to specify exactly what point you want to end at. As you can see from previous answers, many don't currently acknowledge that there is such a thing as global warming.
I'm truthfully an optomist. I think that we can reverse what's happening to our environment, just the same way we patched up our ozone hole which was being fueled by aerosols. However, no one really knows how to yet, or we'd be implementing it, don't you think?
I think that the environment is important enough that we should be paying it more attention than the industry. Of course, this is especially hard to hear for those who work in the industry, considering that that is how they live, but when you think about all the new, clean industry that would come out of trying to take care of the environment, it seems worth it.
I think it doesn't matter whether or not someone thinks global warming is happening or it isn't... shouldn't we prepare for the worst and be pleasantly surprised when we've made our planet a cleaner place and our industries more devoted to preserving it?
