what is the purpose of a butt pad in rowing?
besides to cushion your butt of course. i was told that its to help you get body angle for people with a shorter torso, but i feel like the 1/2 inch of tape and whatever its made out of is not going to help that much? is there another reason for it? because i know other teams use them as well for some people.
To keep your a$$ from blistering, and to keep from slipping when you move your seat.
