hi i researched this on the internet and am pretty sure i have this. my physiotherapist gave me a knee support with a hole for the patella. but this keeps on slipping when i do sports. i dont think this is good and so my dad bought a simple neoprene lonsdale support (no hole or anything). is it ok 2 wear this?
Sure it is. Just cut a little hole in the neoprene. You might try using an elastic band around the top and bottom.
I had it on my knee from surfing when I was in high school. It took a long time, but eventually it subsided. It did stop me from playing football. Too painful. Hurts when you hit it doesn't it? They said that they could do surgery on it, but that it might grow back. We couldn't afford it at the time, so I didn't get the surgery.
