i have a clogged milk duct help please?
ive been using warm compress and trying to massage it out but i cant really tell the difference. its a lumpand it almost feels like its the size of a marble and i have redness on the outside of my breast. how many days will it take to go away if i keep using the warm compress and massaging? any advice too would be great
Firstly, congratulations on breastfeeding. I had mastitus in the beginning and i really do feel for you. The health visitor told me to keep my milk flow going as it helps to clear the blocked duct and to do as you're doing. Hopefully it'll go away soon but if you run a temperature or it's still there in a couple of days time make sure that you consult your doctor. x
