Had acl surgery, How long before i can bend my knee to 90 degrees?
Had a graft from my patellar tendon, had surgery 15 days ago can bend it about 25 degrees but i don't see any progress i start PT tomorrow i just want to bend my knee, anybody know a timetable?
It all depends on YOU...
I had knee replacement last year..(surgery number 5 on the same knee)....bending and flexing were tough orders...but I did EVERYTHING the therapist said to do...I mean everything...and I worked hard..and got my range of motion back in a couple of months v/s some who can take up to 6 months or better..it's because I worked hard at it...I was determined to be the exception rather than the rule...
Your therapist will be the only one (other than your Dr) who can tell you what your time frame may be...it's also based on age, activity level (prior to surgery) and muscle mass....
Be determined to do whatever it is that PT tells you....and you will back in "motion" in no time...
