Quick BMT questions before i leave on Monday for the air force.?
I have almost everything,
I know the flip flop is suppose to be all black, but closest i could find was mostly black with two small white words on the heel.
Also, should i open my shavers and all the things i bought new?
Any advices for my items? also, is there any advices for me? ahhaha

Yes, open all items. Taking time out to ask for scissors to open items will make you "that guy".
Also, "Integrated Avionic System" isnt your AFSC. Its your job, "AFSC" (Air Force Specialty Code) is a combined numeric and alpha code used to specify your job and skill level.
Tips for basic:
- Dont bring electronics and magazines. Have your parents bring those sort of things if they come to your BMT graduation, or have them shipped upon arrival to Tech School.
- No matter how much you like your job, don't brag about it in BMT - no one cares.
- Always assume you are wrong when getting yelled at by a TI. You wont be able to argue your point.
- Never call yourself an Airman - you have not earned that title yet. You are an Air Force Trainee. An Airman is a term earned after completing basic training, and upon receiving your Airman's Coin.
- Don't call out anyone in your flight, it makes you look bad.
- Dont be the guy that can't squeeze out a few more push ups and costs the entire flight another 25.
- Finally, have fun, learn and make the most of it. You will only be there for 8 weeks. You wont get to experience BMT ever again, and some of your fondest memories will come from there. Everybody went through it, and it will be over as quickly as it started.
