can I use Accu-chek aviva equipment and Accu-chek advantage strips for checking boold sugar levels?
I have Accu Chek Aviva Meter, and I bought Accu-chek Advantage II strips to determine the blood glucose levels. I don't know if I can use the 'Accu-chek Advantage II' strips for Accu-chek Aviva Meter (same company manufactures it!)
No, each strip is designed for a specific meter regardless of the manufacturer. Doing this will give you inaccurate blood sugar levels. Be careful and good luck! also, if you call the number on the back of the meter you may be able to get some free strips. It is worth a try because the strips are very expensive. My mother did this and she was sent some free strips for her particular monitor.
