question about haircutting please help?

can the barber just trim my head and make it like that?
The barber would use clippers.. They have guards attachments that can be put on the clippers to adjust the length you want.
The Hair Cut in the picture looks its a blended/faded clipper cut...Meaning at the nape(neck) area it starts out with a clipper size 2(1/4" 6mm)cut. Then gradually blending #3 (3/8" 10mm). The clippers guards start at 1 and go up to 8. The larger the # the longer the length..
