How long will it take for my arm to heal after getting a blood test?
I got tested and the nurse drew blood from the inside of my arm. Its sore and I have a little bruise. About how long will it take for it to heal? What can I do to help a bruise go away?
this is quite common (especially if the nurse wasn't gentle when drawing the blood). this happens to me all the time b/c i have tiny arms and veins lol.
the bruise will be there for about a week-the soreness should be gone in a day or two.
if you notice the bruise getting bigger or not going away, and you begin to have increased pain-then call your dr to have it examined.
otherwise, you should feel fine in the next day or two
